Available options include:

Exempted Limited Partnerships (ELP)
One or more partners has limited liability (“the limited partners”), while the other partner or partners have unlimited liability for the debts of the partnership (“the general partner”). The General Partners run the partnership. The partnership may be exempted from local jurisdiction encumbrances for a fixed period of time.

Insurance services

Private Trust Companies
A trust structure which is often related to family businesses. The structure can permit a satisfactory degree of control and continuity of a family’s interests in a business, while maintaining many of the benefits of a traditional Trust structure.

Family Offices
Structures incorporating dynamic partnerships & advisory services aimed at the preservation of family wealth through multiple generations. Protocols are established which aim to counteract threats to asset continuity such as; volatile economies; political instability; and spendthrift descendants.

Clients may find it beneficial to operate Brokerage Accounts at Tillerman Securities via one of the many available strategic structures. We will asses the suitability of all proposed structures on a case by case basis during the application process.

Please Note:

Tillerman Securities is of the opinion that services associated with strategic account opening structures, for Asset Protection or otherwise, (E.g. Corporations, Trusts etc.) are best provided by operations that are wholly independent of Custodial Operations (Banks, Brokers etc.). For this reason, we do not offer these services.

However, given that many clients opt to establish relationships via strategic structures, it is important that custodians (Banks, Brokers etc.) have a good understanding of these entities.

Further, in-order to deliver a hassle free experience to clients who may wish to operate accounts via a particular structure, Tillerman maintains a list of qualified & reputable service providers that offer advice & structuring services internationally. We are happy to assist with initial introductions, and other support activity aimed at simplifying the process of opening an account in this fashion.

We maintain however that we do not give advice on strategic account opening structures, and therefore any related references should be considered as being for general information purposes only.
