Corporate Accounts
Many individuals or groups opt to form, or incorporate, companies to act as the holder of assets on their behalf. For this purpose, such companies would be direct to open and maintain accounts with custodian operations such as Brokerage Firms or Banks.

Corporation
Definition
The most common form of business organization, and one which is chartered by a state and given many legal rights as an entity separate from its owners. This form of business is characterized by the limited liability of its owners, the issuance of shares of easily transferable stock, and existence as a going concern.
The process of becoming a corporation, called incorporation, gives the company separate legal standing from its owners and protects those owners from being personally liable in the event that the company is sued (a condition known as limited liability).
Incorporation also provides companies with a more flexible way to manage their ownership structure. In addition, there are different tax implications for corporations, although these can be both advantageous and disadvantageous. In these respects, corporations differ from sole proprietorships and limited partnerships.
Incorporations can take place in many jurisdictions around the world, and are governed by the Laws & regulations thereto.
Please Note:
Tillerman Securities is of the opinion that services associated with strategic account opening structures, for Asset Protection or otherwise, (E.g. Corporations, Trusts etc.) are best provided by operations that are wholly independent of Custodial Operations (Banks, Brokers etc.). For this reason, we do not offer these services.
However, given that many clients opt to establish relationships via strategic structures, it is important that custodians (Banks, Brokers etc.) have a good understanding of these entities.
Further, in-order to deliver a hassle free experience to clients who may wish to operate accounts via a particular structure, Tillerman maintains a list of qualified & reputable service providers that offer advice & structuring services internationally.
We are happy to assist with initial introductions, and other support activity aimed at simplifying the process of opening an account in this fashion.
We maintain however that we do not give advice on strategic account opening structures, and therefore any related references should be considered as being for general information purposes only.
